Have you ever clicked on a link in an email, but you don’t end up in the right place because the email software chopped the link apart? There’s a better way to send links so you’ll never do that to anyone.
Copy the address from your address bar into the text box at TinyURL.com. Then, click “Make TinyURL”. It will output a url that is short enough to send in an email or use in a print publication. It’s great to use for maps, online store items, or search results pages.
Better yet, on that same page follow the “Add TinyURL to your browser’s toolbar” instructions. You’ll quickly have a button in your browser’s toolbar that you can click anytime to make a TinyURL of the page that you’re viewing.
P.S. Recent Link of the day, Pandora, just got a face lift. Same functionality; Nice curvy blue buttons.
