October is only half way through and I’m already exhausted! It’s taking me a while to adjust to the new season of dark when I get up, raining and gray all day and dusk when I go home. I’m always cold and pulling myself out of bed when the electric blanket is still toasty is a daily challenge.
Thank you to everyone who sent me birthday wishes, I’m always amazed at all the trouble everyone goes to for something as simple as a birthday. You know how to make me feel like a queen!
Work and weather has put a damper on our house projects. After the monumental task of scraping the popcorn ceiling we’re slow to get the living and rec rooms painted so we can finish those rooms and cross them off our list.
We’re hosting Thanksgiving dinner this year so I’d love to have the rooms finished by then. Also, my sister will be in town the first weekend of November and with a MWJD committee meeting at the end of October we’ll need to plan our painting schedule well.
The stores have barely put out their Halloween candy and Christmas is already out… soon it will be 2008 and another year in Lynnwood will be put down in the memory books.
Tonight we are headed to a friend’s house for another scrapbooking/work party. I’m currently scrapbooking hubby’s 30th birthday from June and with the presents my co-workers gave me of home improvement themed scrapbook supplies I better get started on my home remodel pages!
