When the boys’ first birthday came and went I stopped trying to get all the weekly posts caught up and instead relaxed about the whole blogging thing. I do still want to finish up writing about their first year, someday I’ll make it all into a baby book for them. Perhaps before they have children of their own.
Week thirty-one was back in the first week of November, 2010 and the boys were just turning seven months old. Our good friends had also welcomed a second baby into their family so we got together for a “playdate” which consisted of us moms mall walking and catching lunch at Taco Time.
The other major event that week was getting Graham fitted for his helmet. We had done positional therapy for a full month and although there was some improvement in his skull shape it was time to take a more aggressive approach to his noggin.
Here’s the boys the day Graham got his helmet. There’s a chalk mark in the front of the helmet to guide us to where we should be lining up the helmet with the center of his nose. Don’t worry about the deer in the headlights look on his face…
Graham was doing that for all photos nowadays, helmet or not. Here he is playing freeze tag with himself.
I managed to get out that weekend to a stamping party to make some cards with friends. It felt great to get back into some of my crafts, even though I wasn’t even thinking about scrapbooking and had no hope of pulling out my pages any time in the future.
