We celebrated Father’s Day with a big family potluck at Nana and Papa’s house.
The boys got to explore the new train table they SCORED at a garage sale.
Playing trains with Great-Grandpa.
Graham kicked a ball around with some of the Aunts. Most of us were watching from the windows and taking pictures, it was so great – he was running and laughing and kicking (mostly missing the ball of course). He had a great time!
And after dinner there were homemade gourmet cupcakes for dessert. Aunt Margie even made special cupcakes for Graham and Miles.
She brought large cupcakes and all the fixings to let the boys decorate them.
They globbed on the frosting and sprinkles until they couldn’t see the cake.
Then they ate through the decorations until they could see cake and started all over again! It was so thoughtful of her to bring a crafty dessert especially for the boys. They don’t get to do stuff like that very often so it was a special treat for them.
I also managed to sneak away and let Nora take a nap on me while the rest of the group had dessert. It was worth missing a cupcake to get snuggles in with my niece.
