My sister and her family are long gone back to their home but we’re still talking about all the fun we had with “Baby Noha”. Nora sure isn’t a baby anymore, she was running all over the place and holding her own with Graham and Miles while they were here. In addition to the Easter and two birthday celebrations we kept ourselves busy with plenty of outings, new activities and the business of every day life with three toddlers in the house.
There was plenty of things to do sitting at the table like our colored guys sorting and pom pom stuffing.
Nora was the benefactor of the boys’ tv watching habits.
Before their birthday party when it was getting too crazy trying to set up we had to let the boys plug in for a bit – they were VERY hyper in anticipation of our friends coming over.
I’m not even sure how many times we played play doh.
There were lots and lots of sit down and read time too.
As well as snuggles on the couch. This was one morning where my sister and I were taking things low key and let the boys have their cereal on the couch. Not every day could be a gourmet hot breakfast!
My sister snagged this picture of the boys and I at the Seattle Center, which I’ve already posted but I just love it so much.
Grandpa got in on the action too. We had a lot of time with Grandma and Grandpa but we kept Grandpa for a handful of extra days when Grandma went back to work during the week (the benefits of being retired). I think we thoroughly wore him out!
There was some cute peek-a-boo sessions with Nora too. She even refined her word “peek” into “peek boo” because they played it so much.
More play doh!
Reading and games on the laptop with Grandma.
“Looka Mommy! I made this heart for you!”
Our niece Nora.
She even helped set the table at dinner time.
It was such a fun visit. We went to the Playdate Cafe, went swimming, library story time, monorail excursion, shopping, fed the ducks and had lots and lots of time with family and friends. It was a very busy two weeks that went too fast.
