I’ve completed my longest break in blogging history with three months off from writing anything. It wasn’t intentional; but once I passed the one month mark I decided to focus on other things and embrace the break.
I’m not quite happy with my blog layout, there’s some major updates I want to do but I haven’t had the time to spend (or desire really) on researching coding or layouts or learning a new skill. I just want it to look different without doing the work.
But I have decided that my major goal in 2015 will be memory-documentation. When you look around our house there isn’t much evidence of Alice in our lives (other than all the toys and the entrance of pink). I think the last photos I’ve framed and hung up were from when the boys were two years old. So, after one and a half years of our family being complete it’s time to get some decorating done.
I started by spending the last two weeks going through two years of videos and have added Alice to our YouTube playlist. For those die-hard Daveye fans out there you can look back at when Alice was just a baby and I’ve also added a few gems from Graham and Miles’s toddler years.
Next up will be catching up on blogging back log, picking up photos from Costco and actually getting some galleries hung up.
I hope your new year is off to a great start!
